Here you can see what Domeneshop is currently up to. After they were bought by the cowboy company Miss Group with owners in Dubai (Mattias Kaneteg), there have been lots of phone calls to Domeneshop customers where salespeople try to push a “security package” on them.
In November 2024, Domeneshop customers were invoiced for EyeOnID by Protectia or EyeonGroup after having said no; aggressive sales tactics and unauthorized invoices were used. Now Domeneshop themselves have started selling this product.
Miss Group and EyeonGroup have posted lots of fake Trustadvisor reviews. The reviews have been posted by family and employees, including the son of Mattias Kaneteg.
I believe that Mattias Kaneteg and company are trying to inflate the revenue in order to sell everything for a good price to some private equity fund.
Two of my customers have received emails (see below) even though they did not purchase the product from the telesales representative. Later, a new email came where they were asked to activate their account.

The Domeneshop Safe package includes the portal for domain monitoring, Safe VPN, insurance with free advice and support.
You get:
– Detailed reports showing what information has been stolen, such as personal and financial information, where the leaks have occurred (via which websites), and when they happened.
– Information about exposed email addresses and passwords as well as an action plan.
– Safe VPN allows you to use the internet more privately and securely so that your IP address is hidden, and your data is protected from being accessed by third parties such as internet providers or hackers.
– Fraud insurance – In case of financial loss – compensation of up to 500,000 NOK for debt incurred as a result of identity theft.
Examples of costs can be fees for payments made with stolen credit cards, unauthorized account charges, debt related to identity theft, fraud via BankID, or other financial loss.
– Advice and support for questions about cybersecurity.
After you have secured your environment, the service continues to protect you in real time. It continuously scans the dark and deep web for future leaks. If we detect a new leak, you will receive an alert immediately so that you can handle the new leak.
Protection is activated for:
NOK 199,- excl. VAT per month (NOK 2388,- incl. VAT per year)
